Mike Hix
Founder & Sporting DirectorMike’s passion for sports began at a young age, playing everything from tennis to basketball to running track in his local HS league. After being a 2 sport athlete in College (Baseball/Soccer), his passion for athletics turned into a commitment to helping others discover the joy of soccer through coaching teams at the club, HS and Collegiate levels. In his 32 years as a soccer coach/mentor, Mike has helped develop, promote, train, educate and assist in placing hundreds of HS student athletes to play Collegiate Soccer at all levels, National teams for the USA, Canada and Mexico, as well as helping players play semi-pro internationally.
Mike is known for creating dynamic, engaging programs that cater to all skill levels, ensuring every player feels challenged, encouraged and motivated, while striving to be the best version of themselves they can be.
Kyle Hix
Senior DirectorKyle’s journey into youth sports began over 2 decades ago as he grew up on the soccer pitch watching his older sisters play soccer, lacrosse, basketball and more. Kyle grew up in a household that was very competitive, and he was always working to be better than his siblings. Kyle became a 2 sport star athlete in Baseball and Soccer, and eventually chose Soccer to further his love and passion for competitive athletics. Kyle was recruited at age 17 to attend the International Development Academy for Soccer - a residency program in Valencia, Spain. Kyle took the opportunity to attend the IDA residencey program, playing soccer 6 days a week, with matches 2-3 times a week, while playing on multiple teams, including semi-pro for Godella CF.
From there, Kyle Went on to attend John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR, where he was a 4 year starter at Goalkeeper, and helped the program make deep runs into their conference playoffs all 4 years, while graduating early with a Degree in Construction Management. While at JBU, Kyle also worked as a GK trainer and mentor with the Sporting Arkansas club to further develop his passion and love for the sport. Kyle is married to his college sweethart, and resides in Orange, CA.
Keith Finley
Director of Coaching
Keith grew up in a small town in Western PA where opportunities to play soccer often took a back seat to more popular sports like football and baseball. Despite the challenges, Keith’s interest in the game, natural talent and dedication earned him to earn a spot on the starting line-up of a League 2 team in England, where he played for several years, traveling and competing with some of the best in the world.
After retiring from his semi-professional career, he decided to give back to the community that supported him by starting a soccer camp for young adults. Here, he shares his love for the game combined with technical skills, inspiring the next generation to chase their dreams, just like he did.
